The Home of original music.... written by Chris Green

In a year of remembrance of man's first landing on the moon 40 years ago, we also remember what happened on planet earth on August 29th 2005. The news was brought to us all around the world of a tragic event caused by Hurricane Katrina. Such was the magnitude of what happened in the aftermath, with loss of life and such devastation, our hearts went out to everyone there.

This moved Chris Green to write a heartfelt song called 'White Magnolias' in his own way to remember those who lost their lives and suffered in this tragic event. This song reached the semi-finals of the prestigious UK Songwriting Contest

To commemorate the 4th anniversary in 2009, a music video has been made especially for this song which had been recorded soon after the event and is on his debut album 'Road of Many Colours'

White Magnolias - MUSIC VIDEO

"We will not forget today in history,
where the white magnolias grow"

(Lyrics from White Magnolias)
